Yesterday’s photoshoot was all the way at the far end of Tuas – it was an eye-opener for us to be there for the first time! But as the sun began to set, we realised why the journey was totally worthwhile – the rays cast an absolutely gorgeous glow onto the fields, and of course, the beautiful couple aiming for that perfect shot to cherish for all time.
Thanks to Jianping and Lynn for taking our turquoise bike out for a ride – you guys looked absolutely lovely in the beautiful lalang field. Congrats again, and glad we could contribute in some way! Your happy faces are why we love doing this!
We are always happy when we manage to make a small difference in someone else’s big day – that’s our goal!
If we can help make one couple happy with beautiful pictures to look at for future years to come, that would be good enough for us.
NOW enough of the mushy stuff, this we have to share! Here’s an ADORABLE pre-wedding video from one of our customers who had rented our turquoise bike. Loving the K-Pop feel, you guys. Totally made our day!
Try to spot our flowers and chalkboard as well :)
Super cute, isn’t it?
Thanks Mavis and Yuan Hong for letting us play a part in this special moment!
You can do it too, come come – rent our bikes from us!
A couple rented our bike yesterday for their wedding photo shoot. So exciting! They wanted to go for a retro feel – that means old school coffee shops, toast and eggs, old relics and other nostalgic elements from yesteryear.
In the end they picked one of our favourite spots for a few shots – an old-school dragon playground from a bygone era. It’s one of the last few of such playground structures still standing! How many of you remember sliding down this dragon head slide and feeling absolutely terrified? We do! It was a great time of simplicity and childish delight. We are definitely not fond of the new-age playgrounds, with their shiny, brightly coloured and modern contraptions – but that’s a debate for another day.
We super love how cute our vintage white bike looks at this playground. It definitely added a quaint and romantic touch to the shoot, don’t you think? Imagine what you can do with our bike and a little creativity! :)
We are so happy for the lovely couple! May they have a beautiful and magical wedding :)

Don’t look now, but our pretty white dutch bike had a few seconds of fame when it got a cameo in local singer-busker Kelvin Tan Wei Lian’s MTV (分岔口) back in 2012!
It appeared in the first few seconds of the video, and was ridden by homegrown singer Kelly Poon – with a fresh bouquet of yellow daisies to boot!
Rent Dutchie now if you want to feel like a star :)
A couple of friends of mine got married last year and borrowed our dutch bike for an impromptu shoot after we bumped into them. Taken at Marina Barrage, it was a beautiful addition to their wedding photo book and showed their utter joy and carefree delight with each other as they pedalled away towards their future. The pair looked really happy and at ease, and we were so humbled to be part of their journey. The photo even ended up as their main picture for their event signboard! So proud!
Here’s are some pictures of their shoot (their faces and names have been blurred, to protect their privacy)!
If you want to have a shoot like theirs, head to “What You Should Know” under the tab How To Rent! now :)
